Funeral services
The centre helps families with ghusl, kafan and burial, guided by compassion and the practice of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).

If a death has just occurred
If a death was sudden, unexpected, or unattended, call 000 first. Emergency services, and where required the coroner, must attend before any funeral arrangements can begin.
If the death has already been attended to, call the centre on 0423 959 758. Requests are reviewed during opening hours and the line is not monitored overnight, so please call rather than wait for a reply if the matter is urgent.

Washing and shrouding of the deceased according to Islamic tradition.
Salat al-janazah
Arranging the funeral prayer at the community centre.
Burial coordination
Assisting the family with burial arrangements.
This service is provided free of charge.
